Grundfos SQ Pumps have a Built-in "No water" Saftey, so if your well ever ran dry the pump would turn itself off for 5 minutes allowing the well to recover.
Another Great Feature of the Grundfos SQ Pumps is called "Soft Start". This Allows the pump to slowly start, (rather than on All at once) this helps prevent the wire from Chaffing & is less shock on the system.
